Nataliia Husieva
Nataliia Husieva is PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
She was born in the village of Lozivskyi, Slavyanoserbskyi district, Luhansk region on October 31, 1982. During 2000-2005, she studied at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University, which she graduated with honors and received a master’s degree (majoring in Geography, qualification “geographer, geography teacher”). In 2008-2011, she was a PhD student at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
In October 2011, she defended her thesis for the degree of PhD in Geography in the specialty 11.00.02 “Economic and Social Geography” on the topic “Territorial Organization of the PhD in Geography Cultural Sphere of the Regional Socio-Geosystem (Case Study of Luhansk Oblast)”. In 2012, she received a diploma of PhD in Geography.
Work experience:
2005-2008 – Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Geography of the Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National Pedagogical University, part-time – Geography and Biology Teacher at the “Luhansk Educational Complex Specialized School of the 1st Degree – Gymnasium No. 42” Educational Institution.
2007-2008 – Assistant at the Department of Geography of the Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National Pedagogical University, part-time.
Since 2011 – assistant, and in 2012-2015 – senior lecturer at the Department of Geography of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk.
Since November 2014 – associate professor at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
Research interests: external economic relations, social geography, urban geography, political geography and geopolitics, regional policy, geography of domestic tourism.
