Kostyantyn Mezentsev
Kostyantyn Mezentsev – Doctor of GeographicalSciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Human Geography, Faculty of Geography, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Professor of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
He was born on June 27, 1971 in Cherkassy. In 1993 he graduated from the Geographical Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. In 2007 he defended the doctoral thesis on “Socio-geographical forecasting of regional development: theory, methodology, practice”. Since 2007 he has been working as a professor of K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies.

Basics of human-geographical modeling
Contemporary Debates in Human Geography (taught in English)
Human-geographical forecasting
Research interests: spatial transformation of cities and urban regions, uneven regional development, migration, perception and images of regions and cities, forecasting in human geography.
