The Student of the department took part in the “Study Tours to Poland” Program

From October 5 to 14, 2026, Oksana MOROZ, a third-year student of the educational program “Geography of Recreation and Tourism” took part in the international program “Study Tours to Poland”. The event was held in the city of Toruń (Poland) with the support of the Kosmos Foundation.

The program offered an excellent opportunity to gain insight into Poland’s experience in local self-government, community development, civil society, and youth initiatives.

Over the course of ten days, participants visited local government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and educational and cultural institutions and met with representatives of student self-government and local media. Of particular value were the opportunity to learn about the work of the Marshal’s Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, the meeting with representatives of the Toruń County, and exchange of experiences with Polish youth.

In addition to the educational component, the program included an exploration of Poland’s history and cultural heritage. Participants visited Poznań, Ciechocinek, museums in Toruń, and other notable sites, discovering new chapters of the country’s history.

Participation in Study Tours to Poland offers not only new knowledge and international connections, but also the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop communication skills, and find ideas for future student and community projects in Ukraine.

We are proud of our students’ active involvement, their drive to grow, and their willingness to explore new opportunities!
