    Short bio

    She was born on December 31, 1996 in Kharkiv. She graduated from Kharkiv Secondary School No. 20 (with a gold medal). In 2014, she entered the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University at the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, which she graduated with honors in 2020 and received a Master’s degree in Economic and Social Geography. The topic of her master’s thesis: “Human-geographical features of urbanization processes in Ukraine”. During her studies at the university, she was the head of the student council and the head of the scientific society of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, a member of the regional student council. In 2022, she entered full-time postgraduate study at the Department of Socio-Economic Geography and Regional Studies.

    She is working on a PhD research on the topic: “Human-geographical study of urbanization processes in Ukraine”.

    Educational and scientific activities, internships and advanced training:

    1. She participated in the work of the IV International School for Young Scientists on Urban Geopolitics as part of the international project “Ukrainian Cities on the Geopolitical Fault Line: Urban Identity, Geopolitics and Urban Policy” (October 9-12, 2022, Lviv, Ukraine).
    2. From May to September 2023, she carried out scientific research at the University of Waterloo (Canada) under the International Program “Mitacs Globalink Research Internship”.
    3. Preparation and participation in the advanced research workhop under the NATO program “Science for Peace and Security” (SPS) on the topic: “Achieving Sustainability in Ukraine through Military Brownfields Redevelopment”.
    4. Participation in the training workshop on the topic: “Evaluating Environmental and Health Risks Training”, conducted by the Environmental Health Scientist of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, Dr. Laurel Berman, based on lectures and completion of a modular test task.
    5. From June 3 to 14, 2024, she took in an online course within the framework of the Competence Aid For Ukraine (CAFU) project, where she took the course “Sustainable Development and Decision Making”.
    6. From October 28 to November 1, 2024, she participated in a study visit to Uppsala (Sweden) within the framework of the Competence Aid For Ukraine (CAFU) project, where she took training on international standards in education, health care, and sustainable development management, which contributed to the creation of a qualified network that supports the recovery of Ukraine.
